Powder Magazine Powder Awards In Park City

by Powderhound Cat January 24 2013 0 Comments

Park City knows how to party. Powder Magazine does, too. It seems like the perfect pairing to have brought the Powder Awards to Park City. I applaud whoever had the brilliant idea. Park City Live was a killer venue. We were also opening Sundance Film Festival, and the extension of honoring the best of athletic cinematography just made sense. I was honored to be able to attend. The crowd was a who's who of the best in the sport. Everyone from honored legends to film crews. And of course Tom Wallisch, who won Male Reader's Choice for the THIRD time in a row.

Remember that movie that I told you to go see - Level 1's Sunny? Top film of the season. Get on it if you haven't already. But I don't want to give too much away...this isn't a review, it's more like a teaser. That's right, you can watch a broadcast of the event:

How cool is that? Enjoy, I sure did!

I know I said I wouldn't give anything else away, but I have to say congrats to our buddy Brody Leven for his Go Pro award. I love these photos of him: one entitled "Winning at Social Media" and then his awards gallery shot. Way to go!

More results, photos, and fun stuff here.

*Let it snow*
