Super Sunday for Skiing

by Powderhound Cat February 2 2013 4 Comments

The ski resorts in Utah are hardly ever crowded. But if you want to feel like they are spinning the lifts just for you and a few friends, head out tomorrow. While many people are ordering chicken wings and chopping vegetables, you can get in a great peaceful morning of skiing. Every year I look forward to hitting the slopes on Super Bowl Sunday.

No matter who is playing, whether you're a football fan or not, Sunday is a perfect example of Utah's uncrowded slopes. Even if you do want to catch the game, you can still ski until kickoff. Double bonus.

The conditions are pristine right now (over 40'' fell this past week) - this is what we live for. It's been an amazing winter and 2013 season. If you're dying to get up to the mountains, come up tomorrow. I'll be out, but not that many other people will. Even if you ALL show up, there's room. Enjoy Super Sunday the right way - with some skiing! Triple bonus? You can eat all the queso you want and not feel guilty, you got your workout on the hill.

Will you be sporting a Baltimore or San Francisco jersey out on the slopes this Super Sunday?

*Let it snow*
