Recco Avalanche Gear Testing at Deer Valley.

It's always comforting to know that the resort where you are skiing has the necessary gear to quickly and efficiently search and rescue if the unthinkable happens.

Skiing at Deer Valley last Saturday, I noticed the ski patrol out fine tuning their skills with their Recco detectors - used in search and rescue situations that deal with avalanches.
