'Tis the season for hot chocolate, presents under the tree, caroling and Santa! This time of the year is always filled with holiday parties and school Christmas plays, but throw in some ski resort holiday traditions as well.
All families have holiday traditions they celebrate. For our family, it is spending Christmas Eve in Little Cottonwood Canyon. If you are just starting some new holiday traditions, Park City has many options for you this holiday season.
On December 19th, Santa will come cruising down the town lift on Main Street. There will be cookies, hot chocolate and of course pictures with Santa!
On December 24th, the torchlight parade takes place at Park City Mountain. On the plaza will be hot chocolate, music and cookies as you watch the parade.
On December 24th, Deer Valley will have visits from Santa in the Snow Park Lodge area.
On December 30th, Deer Valley will have their torchlight parade behind the Snow Park Lodge. Join in for cider and cookies while watching the parade.
And for those just packing your bags to head to Utah, SNOW IS COMING! It looks like Mother Nature is turning on the snow machines just in time for Santa to start fattening up his reindeer for the big trip. By late this week right on through Christmas, there seems to be a wet pattern developing. With that said, pack your warm ski gear and Santa hats...it's going to be a white Christmas!
