Utah's Top 11 Powder Stashes

119” INCHES!!!! That's no typo!

By Wasatch Snow Forecast's calculation... that's about how much it snowed between January 2–January 12, 2017. As I type, a steady stream of 18 wheeler dump trucks are rolling out of Park City packed to the gills with Snow.  Seriously, there is so much snow in town that the City has called out the big guns to help remove it. You know the plows that look like giant snowblowers?

Yeah, those are rolling around town right now. In the 11 years I’ve lived in Park City, I've never seen anything quite like this. Even during our record breaking winter (09/10) I can’t remember an 11 day period that was as prolific as this one.

Alright, enough with the stats. As your Official Powderhound, I hope I haven’t let you down lately. When there's this much activity on the mountains, it's hard to post frequently! I mean, can you blame me? But now, the Pacific Jet Stream is reloading, so you need to start planning your next Powder Day, and I'm going to help you out with that. I’ve decided now is the time to let you in on some of my best powder stashes. I know my friends are going to kill me for posting this, but I’m going to outline my personal favorite powder spots through out the state and show you exactly what they look like. You’re welcome…
