A promise delivered at Powder Mountain

I promised a storm in my most recent blog and that's exactly what we got. To be exact, about a foot of fresh powder fell at Powder Mountain, located in Utah's Northern Wasatch Range.  While the snow wasn't our typical blower pow, it sure made for a ton of fun out on the hill. Anyone still searching for powder can head to any one of Utah’s resorts and I can guarantee you’ll find it.  

The storm was supposed to stall over the central Wasatch, dropping close to 2 feet of snow. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. Most resorts ended up with 10-15” of the white stuff. No I’m not complaining. The front never really stalled, it actually moved further south then anticipated. This was actually great news for our friends down in Central and Southern Utah.  Both Brian Head and Eagle Point should now get similar amounts of snow to the ones that fell in Northern Utah on Wednesday night. Looks to me like it was a state wide dumpfest!
