March - Coming in like a Lion

Just like the old saying, March looks to be coming in like a Lion! The storms are lining up. Thursday midday, Friday night- Sunday and again on Monday!   Each storm is supposed to be stronger and colder than its predecessors.  Obviously over the past couple of days I’ve been doing some weather forecasting of my own.  I’ve seen some computer models forecast up to 65” of snow by the end of the first week of March.  While those sorts of numbers aren’t in forecast 2-3 feet of snow is certainly possible.  Keep following www.wasatchsnowforecast.com for the latest updates on the storm cycle .

The skiers and riders competing in this weekends FreeRide World Tour at Snowbird are going to be psyched!  Super soft landings as the best in the business huck their meat on  Snowbird’s North Baldy.  If you haven’t had an opportunity to check out this event it’s a must. Athletes will throw down some seriously dangerous cliff hucks, all while skiing one of the  Wasatch’s most challenging ski runs.
