October Ski Turns

by Powderhound Matt October 15 2013 0 Comments

Well it's official, I'm back on skis and ready to roll.  October 14, 2013 marked the fifth time in seven years that I've been able to ski powder before Halloween in Utah. Not bad... Of course it's always fun making powder turns this time of year but honestly I can't recommend it.  The snow pack is thin, very thin.  The base is building and in no time we'll be skiing wall to wall. Until that time, I suggest you just watch the video and let our base build. Trust me your skis, and knees will thank you.

In the mean time, if you have a video you shot in Utah and you'd like me to share, feel free to message me at any of the links listed below throughout the season. I found this one on youtube today. These guys decided to go big over in Gunsight. Hats off to you guys!

You clearly have bigger you know what than I do.
