Skiing Snowbird / Weather Update!

by Powderhound Matt February 28 2012 0 Comments

I cannot believe that Friday was my first day skiing Snowbird this year. This place is magical and I should probably be arrested or fired from my job at Ski Utah for not skiing here more often. Storm totals were around a foot for the past couple of days but the snow was very dense so things weren't skiing very deep. That being said, the snow is super soft and playful. With another couple of inches over this past weekend, skiing right now is first class all over the Wasatch.

With another couple of storms on the way this week I'm thinking skiing is going to be at it's best by Tuesday and again on Thursday. It may be warm where you live but it's full on winter in Utah. Better late than never.  Here is what the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City is thinking about the Monday-Tuesday storm.

Remember there is a lot more snow on the way for the rest of the week! Here is the forecast!
