Deep!

Yeeeeaaahhh!!!!!! It’s deep out there. Today we cruised up to Alta for what was sure to be an awesome day after getting a couple feet of new snow over the last two days. We started out on the Wildcat chair getting untracked face shots down the first pitch and then opened it up threw wide chute on down to the bottom. Then we rode Collins lift up and took the High Traverse over to Highboy. The High T still has a few rocks, but it’s much better than last week. When we got to Highboy it had a few tracks on it, however there was still plenty of fresh tracks to be had. With the snow so good we were able let it rip. It was the best run I ever had down Highboy! Then we skied West Rustler for another wide-open ripper. After that we headed back to wildcat for some tighter tree shots. With our legs getting tired, we decided to finish the day by skiing the open glades in Catharine’s area. Today most of the mountain was open. A few areas were saved for another day. This dump gave us what we needed to make the skiing awesome. If you haven't been out skiing yet this season, there is no excuse now. The POW is not going to ski itself! Check out the video shot by photographer Randy Reynolds.
