I was beginning to think that the storm that rolled in last night was going to be a dud. Initial reports said that it would roll in yesterday afternoon, but, when I went to bed at midnight, the snow had yet to start falling.

So, when I got up at 7 this morning I was stoked to see it nuking outside my window. I live in downtown Salt Lake and there was a good 8 inches in my driveway that I had to shovel before heading to the office. (Unfortunately, Monday staff meetings trump fresh powder some days.) It kept up for most of the morning, and then I saw this:

That's right, the Snowbird Snow Cam showed 15 inches piling up in just 6 hours. Now that's impressive.  What are you waiting for, get out there and ride!
