The official countdown to winter has begun! Utah chairlifts will start spinning in 100 days, which means your days of sand skiing, dirt skiing, and finding small slivers of snow to shred should be coming to an end.

If you're in the Salt Lake area Thursday August 14th, look for the Ski Utah Yeti who will be passing out free snow cones at the Gallivan Center from 11:00-2:00. You can expect aptly named snow cone flavors from: "Never Eat Yellow Snow" to "Pow Pow Paradise."
Those in attendance will have the opportunity to win a Yeti Pass, score individual lift tickets and learn about season pass offerings.

Come on out and celebrate 100 Days to Winter, which officially begins August, 14th. And now's the time to get your hands on a season pass for the 2014-15 winter.
