Music in the Mountains

All winter long skiers and snowboarders from around the world visit Utah to rock The Greatest Snow on Earth®.  Now it’s time to rock to the baseline, drum solo, and lyrical talent delivered from bands scheduled to play at Utah’s resorts this summer.  From Melissa Etheridge to Utah’s Symphony covering 18 Eagle’s cuts there is enough music to keep you grooving.  While taking in the music, chances are good that the high peaks will still be covered in snow, a beautiful setting as the music serenades the setting sun.  Not to be forgotten, most of the mountain venues allow small coolers.  So do it up right and bring the wine and cheese and don’t forget the Oreos for the kids.  Even better yet, some concerts are entirely free.  You can be sure to find music in the mountains this summer many evenings of the week.  Let your summer evenings unwind at one of the following venues and don’t forget to dance like no one’s watching.

Canyons hosts a concert each Saturday.
Deer Valley Resort readies the stage each Wednesday and hosts music festivals most weekends.
Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort also offers up the jams each Saturday along with a Mountain Music Festival Juy 15-17.
Snowbasin Resort offers up music each Sunday.
