Snow is to Utah as. . . .
Stephen Colbert to a punch line
Charlie Sheen as a punch line
Beyonce to Jay Z
Facial hair to Brian Wilson
Hats at the Royal Wedding
Northern Irishmen to Golf Majors
Snorkel on a powder day
Ok, enough with the analogies, but in cutting to the chase, snow is central to Utah’s allure. Good thing Utah has The Greatest Snow on Earth®. Herculean totals of snow has fallen on Utah each of the past four winters, to the tune of 783’’, 602’’, 696’’ and 701’’ respectively. In fact, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) states that La Nina could give us two deep winters in a row. Read more about this phenomenon. Taking NOAA's lead, how many inches will fall on Utah this winter?
Expect more of this in 2011-12
