We waited, then we waited some more—but now we wait no more. The mountains turned to winter overnight, with up to 54'' of snow falling in a 48 hour window earlier this week at Eagle Point. The rest of the state scored anywhere from 1-3 feet of snow. With this very welcomed dump of The Greatest Snow on Earth, resorts have stepped into high gear, firing up snowcats, biceps needed for shoveling and coffee—as a new resort is opening almost daily.
Bases are quickly building and the 2016-17 winter is kicking off with epic conditions. Here's a peek at conditions from each of our 14 resorts as well as a list of upcoming resort openings.
