SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH- As the 2011-12 season winds down, Ski Utah is revving up with new services and products for its industry members. As a result, the marketing firm owned and operated by the 14 Utah ski and snowboard resorts has appointed Cailley Chakeen its new advertising representative and Justin Davis membership manager.
Cailley Chakeen travelled from Chicago, IL to Salt Lake City, UT in search of “big city living” with uncanny access to incredible ski terrain. Chakeen holds a Bachelor of Journalism in Advertising and a Bachelor of Art in Spanish both from the University of Missouri. She will oversee the development and sales of advertising opportunities on SkiUtah.com and the new Ski Utah magazine, which will debut Fall 2012. Chakeen’s experience with media strategy and analytics make her a strong addition to the team.
Justin Davis is a native Utahn with a lifelong connection to the Utah ski and snowboard industry. In fact, he has assisted with Ski Utah’s snow reporting and passport programs for the past four years. Davis will graduate this May from the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. Davis is charged with implementing networking opportunities and services for Ski Utah’s growing member population. Davis also oversees sales of the coveted Ski Utah Gold, Silver and Yeti ski passes. Davis’ strong interpersonal, organizational and creative skills will innately add value to membership with Ski Utah.
