EDEN, Utah - Wolf Creek Utah, a four-season resort community in Eden, Utah is ringing in the New Year with a party for the whole family. A holiday lift ticket provides all-day skiing and a lot more -- evening fireworks, a midnight torchlight parade and party with a bon-fire, music, dancing and games.
A New Year’s Eve all-day adult ski pass is $35 and a child’s pass is $22, with skiing extended until 11:30 p.m., at which time advanced skiers and riders of all ages may participate in a community torch light parade. There is also a flashlight parade at 8:00pm for the juniors. The event is open to both skiers and snowboarders who are able to safely negotiate advanced terrain.
In addition to the on-snow fun, Harley & Bucks Restaurant will provide a Mexican Feast for $19.95 for adults, $9.95 for children ages 5 -12, and children age 4 and under are free.
Wolf Creek Utah is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its ski hill. Many locals may remember Wolf Creek Utah as Nordic Valley, the fun-for-all-ages ski hill where many Utahns learned to make their first turns. Wolf Creek has sought to be accessible to local Utah families – with lodging and skiing packages that don’t break the bank – like a kids stay and ski free package for only $89 per night, or kids under 12 ski free.
