Race with Mountain Trails Foundation

Come race with Mountain Trails Foundation and help support your local trails. Mountain Trails Foundation has been helping advocate non-motorized trails and the healthy lifestyle they promote for 20 years now. This summer they have 4 races including Jupiter Peak Steeple Chase, Park City Marathon, Mid Mountain Marathon, and Tour des Suds which will take place August 3, August 17, September 7, and September 15 respectively. Annual Board Meeting

Join Ski Utah Wednesday, June 19, at the Natural History Museum of Utah for its annual board meeting. Ski Utah will deliver its annual report and plans for the coming 2013-14 season, skier survey results, and board election results. The meeting will start at 9:30 a.m. and wil include a continental breakfast.

Snow Report Display

Does your company want to display Ski Utah's official snowreport on a screen in your lobby or shop? Now is the time to prepare for the 2013-14 season and we need your input. So if you are interested in displaying Utah's Official Snowreport please contact Luke Ratto at luke@skiutah.com.

Golf Event

Tomorrow is Ski Utah's annual membership golf tournament. The tournament will be held at Wasatch Golf Course and will begin with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. There will be continental breakfast and coffee served before the tournament and lunch proceeding the tournament. The price to participate is $65 per person, which includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, breakfast, lunch, sleeve of golf balls, and tees. Members are welcome to invite guests.

Board Election Reminder

Remember to have your organization cast its ballot in order to help elect Ski Utah's new Board of Directors. Seven (7) candidates will be elected to serve a three-year term beginning July 1, 2013. You can view a ballot roster and nominee information by Clicking Here.

Ted Seeholzer Passes Away

We're sad to announce that our friend and true industry legend, Ted Seeholzer, owner and operator of Beaver Mountain, passed away May 23, 2013. Ted was 81 years old. His funeral will be at noon Wednesday, May 29, in the Smithfield 11th Ward LDS chapel, 200 S. 100 East in Smithfield. A viewing will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center St. in Logan, and 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Smithfield 11th Ward LDS chapel prior to services.
