Park City, Utah (August 20, 2007) – Test your mountain biking skills on the official Jeep King of the Mountain course set up at The Canyons Resort. Ride the same course world-renowned riders tackled three weeks ago during stage one of the Jeep King of the Mountain race series.

The course is a steep run not for the faint of heart. Navigate a series of banked turns, tabletops, step-down jumps and rollers on your way to the finish line. The course has been described as the ultimate format for mountain bike racing and is one of the toughest challenges for bikers looking for a thrill in Park City. Slightly modified at the top, the course does not start in the Y-cross formation as it did for the professional racers, but rather is a single-track start. Access the course seven days a week via hiking or biking up the Holly’s Downhill trail.

Helmets are required on the course and like all mountain biking at the resort, The Canyons strongly suggests using protective equipment and using extreme caution while attempting this run.

The Canyons Resort in Park City, Utah is the largest single ski and snowboard resort in Utah and one of the largest in the United States. Located just four miles from Park City's historic Main Street, The Canyons offers 3,700 acres of diverse terrain over eight separate mountains, accessing 150+ trails. Additional details are available at: www.thecanyons.com.
