SCHEDULE:

June 19th: MuddPuddle
The Park City based rock-and-roll band Muddpuddle thrills audiences with a blend of original and cover music in a wide variety of styles. Muddpuddle’s sound touches on jam band, alt-country, classic rock, and blues to provide a unique blend of musical fun. The band consists of Cole Hobbs and Marty Klein on guitars, Phil Dean on bass, Mike Rogers on keyboards, Matt Gordon on drums, and Johnny Leone on saxophone.

June 26th: Superbubble
SuperBubble is an ever expanding funk collective from Salt Lake City, Utah. Driving a fat beat, a solid groove, and a great sense of jam, they turn a room into an unapologetically funky dance party. Formed in 2016, they have been accruing band members, working their way around the state, and becoming a quick local favorite. In May 2017, SuperBubble released their first self-titled EP amongst great reviews. S.L.U.G. magazine wrote, SuperBubble is one of the biggest surprises I have encountered this year, with one of the most solid debuts I’ve heard out of the Salt Lake scene. This album is a fleshed funk fest of jam, jive and jazz, with a couple of the strongest instrumental tracks I’ve heard for years.”

July 10th: Pixie and the Partygrass Boys
A rowdy band of self-described ski bums and hippies first brought together by a common love of snow, fun, and bluegrass in the shadows of Utah's Wasatch Mountains, Pixie and The Partygrass Boys have been spreading the gospel of whiskey and chickens since 2015. The infectious energy and enthusiasm of their live shows quickly garnered them a loyal following in the Intermountain West. Led by vocalist Katia "Pixie" Racine, this group of lifelong musicians -- Ben Weiss (mandolin, vocals), Andrew Nelson (guitar, vocals), Zach Downes (upright bass), and Amanda Grapes (fiddle, vocals) together blend elements of pop, punk, jazz, and funk with classic bluegrass to create their unique style, dubbed "Partygrass.”

July 17th:Jagertown
“Line ‘em up, shoot ‘em down. There’s a party going on in Jägertown” - are the opening lyrics of Jägertown, self-titled first album and the title track released over thirteen years ago. This lyric has become synonymous with the band as their popularity grew. Described as a mix of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Alabama, Jägertown energizes crowds with their fresh, rockn' country sound at festivals across the country.
2019 marks the band’s thirteenth year and will see the release of two albums, Lucky 13, a collection of hits from their first thirteen years, and Blacktop, a studio album created with Grammy® Award-winning producer Matt McClure in Nashville.

Sophia Dion Band
Collaboratively, the Sophia Dion Band has played at well-known venues such as the iconic “3rd and Lindsley” (Nashville, TN), The House of Blues (Los Angeles), Disneyland (CA), The Coach House (Orange County, CA), The NAMM Show (Nashville, TN and Anaheim, CA), The Honda Center (Anaheim, CA), Sundance Film Festival (Park City, UT), The Grand Valley Bank Community Concert Series at Deer Valley Resort (Park City, UT), and many non-profit events that help support “Blue Star Connection,” a non-profit organization that helps provide kids in hospitals with the gift of music.

July 31st:Joy & Eric
Late 20th century acoustic pop

August 7th: Opal Agafia & The Sweet Nothings
Opal Agafia & The Sweet Nothings, based in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, embodies the sounds of the Ozark Mountains: a little soul, a little roots, a little rock-and-roll, a little old-timey swing – and a lot of heart.
Opal's voice is packed with power and emotion; her lyrics are sophisticated yet accessible. The band, made up of four seasoned musicians, provides a consistently tight backdrop that pushes every song forward, compelling listeners to pay close attention, lest they miss a single minute of this show.
The result is music that's irresistible, no matter the listener's background.

August 14th: Big Blue Ox
Big Blue Ox is an explosive funk juggernaut from Salt Lake City, Utah. Throwing down head bangin' grooves and blistering horn lines, this band is sure to elevate the mind and move the body. Big Blue Ox recently released their self-titled EP, featuring some of the group’s most groundbreaking work.
The band’s core members, George Simon, Mason Peterson and Wachira Waigwa-Stone, founded the first incarnation of Big Blue Ox while attending the School of Music at the University of Utah in 2009. After a hiatus, the band reformed in 2015 with an all-star lineup, including a three-part horn section, analog synthesizers, and world percussion. Be sure to catch Big Blue Ox at a festival or venue near you and stay tuned for the full album release dropping next year.

August 21st: Live PC Give PC Community Jam Session
Mountain Town Music's annual Live PC Give PC Community Jam Session will bring local musicians together to celebrate the end of summer with a super jam which is inspired by The Band's The Last Waltz.
