Snowbasin Scenic Gondola Rides

In the winter, you don’t need to ski or snowboard to access our mountain. You can enjoy lunch at the top of the mountain and take in the stunning views with a scenic gondola ride to Needles Lodge or a scenic chairlift ride to John Paul Lodge. From John Paul Lodge, foot passengers can also ride the Allen Peak Tram to the top of the mountain to see the expansive views of Ogden, Ogden Valley, The Great Salt Lake, Ben Lomond Peak, and the start of the 2002 Winter Olympics Downhill course. Great opportunity for the non-skiers and snowboarders to still partake in family time while their skiing and snowboarding relatives shred the mountain. Tickets are $12 on weekdays, $16 on the weekends, and $18 during holiday times. In the summer Needles, Gondola runs every Saturday and Sunday for guests to enjoy a greener view of the Ogden Valley. In addition, guests can enjoy lunch at Needles Lodge on Saturdays and a Mountain Top Brunch on Sundays.
