How a Ski Lift Works Guided Tour

Join one of our most popular hikes and learn what makes our lifts go round and round. Tour lift terminals, lift shacks, motor rooms and the world-famous Needles Parking Garage. A lift mechanic will lead the tour and explain the principles of ski lift operations, helping you to appreciate your ride to the top all the more! Difficulty: Easy (Steep stairways, enclosed spaces and ladders will be encountered.) Duration: 3 hours Age: 7+

Every Saturday June 20 - September 26 at 10:30am $15 per person

Upper mountain tours (all tours except Disc Golf) require a lift ticket ($5 add-on) or a season pass for gondola access. Snack break and snack included on tour. Tours meet in the rental shop and most tours end at Needles Lodge, where lunch is available for purchase. FULL SUMMER 2015 SATURDAY GUIDED TOUR SCHEDULE Come prepared for a mountain adventure : closed-toes shoes and water bottle are required. Sunscreen, hat, rain gear and cameras recommended. Tours are geared towards families and adults. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Kid’s Adventure Tours offered Sundays for ages 7 - 12.
