EATING ESTABLISHMENT ANNOUNCES SPRING EARLY-DINNER SPECIAL

April 28 2015

PARK CITY, Utah (April 28, 2015) — Winter and summer get all the attention, but spring has plenty of Park City charm. And with spring already underway — and summer just a couple months away — the Eating Establishment is celebrating the season with a new early-dinner prix fixe special starting May 7.

Every Thursday to Monday through June 30, take advantage of delicious three-course meals being served from 5 to 7 p.m., all for just $18.99. Selections each week will include choice of a soup or salad; followed by a mouth-watering entrée like pasta primavera, sautéed cod with rum and mint sauce, or chicken parmesan with a side of pasta; and a classic dessert like apple tart. [These are the items that were featured with the Fall release — not sure if it’s changed, but I thought having something more specific like those sounded more enticing than more general “chicken, fish.”

“The Eating Establishment has been here in Park City for 42 years, and we’ve come to really appreciate and enjoy spring,” Rick Anderson, owner of The Eating Establishment said. “It’s a bit quieter, offering a chance to catch up with friends and family, the flowers start to bloom, and it all really just fits so well with the warm service and the seasonal, savory and tasty family-friendly fare we serve at the Double-E.”

The Eating Establishment is Park City’s longest-running full-service restaurant. Last summer, it welcomed Ricc Esparza as its new general manager, a longtime Utahan who’d previously been chef at the Urban Bistro in Salt Lake City, the Salt Lake City Holiday Inn and, at McArthur Park in Palo Alto, California, the Bay Area’s youngest sous-chef.

The Eating Establishment is open daily serving breakfast from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. The restaurant can also host parties with a custom menu or provide catering for any occasion.

About The Eating Establishment

The Eating Establishment is the oldest full-service restaurant in Park City, Utah. Opened in 1972 when Park City was still just a budding tourist town, the restaurant has since grown into a beloved Main Street staple, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.  Many menu items haven’t changed since day one, and the legendary Miner’s Dawn skillet – seasoned potatoes, melted cheese, basted eggs and wheat toast – helped popularize breakfast skillets near and far. New menu items have been added over time to keep pace with changing tastes, but “The Double E” still holds true to its origins: traditional American food with a Western flare, served in a fun, friendly and casual setting, and all at affordable prices. There’s something for everyone at The Eating Establishment – especially families. Book your reservation on Eating Establishment's website, www.theeatingestablishment.net, or via Open Table.
