Serving Amid the Stars: Park City Restaurants Open During Sundance Festival

PARK CITY, Utah (Jan. 15, 2014) — Park City’s world famous restaurants will stay open for business when Hollywood comes to town.

 

Even as the Sundance Film Festival takes over much of Historic Park City, you don’t need to be a movie industry insider to get a table at the town’s best bars and restaurants.

 

More than a dozen bars, restaurants and lounges will stay open to the general public through Sundance, which runs Thursday, Jan. 22, to Sunday, Feb. 1.

 

They are operating with normal business hours and serving full menus unless otherwise stated:

 

(For those looking for a taste of Hollywood, the Fox School of Wine will be hosting two Sundance-themed wine tasting events during the festival. See below for details.)

The Fox School of Wine will be presenting a pair of delectable events during Sundance:

For the festival opening Jan. 22, the school’s Table of 12 will host “Taste of Hollywood,” an intimate wine and food experience that will turn the spot light on wines made by celebrities. The wines will be paired with gourmet food complement their star quality. The event runs from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Tickets cost $40, register at foxschoolofwine.com.

 

And on Jan. 24, the school’s Weekend Wine Series hosts “Wines in Film,” featuring wines seen in movies and made by movie stars. The wines will make you a part of Sundance, but without the parking challenges! Tickets cost $25, register at www.foxschoolofwine.com.
