Comments: On the mountain today we have 4 lifts, 58 trails, 25 groomed trails, and 4 terrain parks with 13 jumps and 43 features open. Surface conditions are spring conditions and machine groomed. Comments: After an incredible weekend filled with fun laps, goofy costumes, and tons of great spring skiing, we’ve reached our final weekend of operations for the 2023/2024 season. It seems like we were just at the start of the season, eagerly awaiting our first snowfall and hoping the temperatures would drop enough to help us build a solid base, and now we sit at a 400” season total, giving two back-to-back 400”+ season totals for the first time in 15 years! We aren’t ready to call it quits on skiing and snowboarding quite yet, but we are ready to make the most of these last 7 days! End-of season lift hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Comments: This is Matt with your Mountain Surf Report for Monday, April 22, 2024. It's that time of year when other ski areas stop spinning their lifts and start shifting gears towards summer. Not us. Spring is in full swing here at The Bird and we've got at least five more weeks of skiing and riding. Conditions have been prime this past week, and on top of that, we've got a refresh in the forecast for the end of the week. Please note, entry 1 is closed for the season. Parking is primarily available through Entries 2 and 4. There is no skiing access below the base of Little Cloud due to construction.

Comments: It’s going to be another beautiful spring day at Solitude with mostly sunny skies and temperatures reaching the low 50s. We did not receive a refreeze last night, leaving us with soft, slushy conditions over most of the mountain. Most of our terrain gates are now closed for the season, including all gates into Honeycomb Canyon. Thank you, Honeycomb, for so many great powder days this year! Summit remains open along with most of our frontside trails. Our snow cats continue to crawl the mountain nightly, keeping 20+ of our trails groomed. Both of our Soli Parks are open for high-flying fun. Check the conditions page on our website or app to see what’s open, what’s groomed, and what’s now closed for the season. Parking is free and no reservations are required for the rest of the season.
