			<title>It&amp;amp;#146;s Back! Summer Theatre Returns to the Sundance Resort</title>

(Sundance, Utah)- The eagerly anticipated return of Sundance Summer Theatre is here, as Sundance Resort and Utah Valley State College Department of Theatrical Arts partner to present A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The production will be at the Eccles Stage and marks the return of this much-loved event to the Sundance outdoor theatre.
“As a native of Utah Valley, I could not be more excited about the return of the Sundance Resort Summer Theatre. We are especially happy that Utah Valley State College will be working with us to re introduce theatre at Sundance. This is a great way to involve the community in a venture that is a great Sundance tradition,” said Chad Linebaugh, Sundance Resort Co-General Manager.
One of Shakespeare’s most beloved and accessible comedies, A Midsummer Nights Dream weaves the tale of fairies and mortals whose romantic intrigues and comedic bumbling reveal that “the course of true love never did run smooth.”
“We feel this charming Shakespearean comedy is the perfect play for Utah Valley State College to do at such a majestic and deeply-rooted place as Sundance Resort,” said Terry Petrie, Chair of UVSC’s Theatrical Arts Department.
	The sprites, fairies and other delightful characters of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream will appear against the backdrop of Mt. Timpanogos, beginning on August 2nd and ending with the performance on August 23rd; performances will be held each Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday night over these dates.
The production will be presented by the Sundance Preserve, an organization that was founded by the Redford family as a place for Arts and the Environment to work together and it is to this transformative power of nature on the creative process and the human spirit that the Sundance Preserve has dedicated its land, legacy and efforts.
“Over thirty years ago, the Sundance Summer Theatre was the first of many Sundance Resort programs to draw on the inspiring power of Art and Nature combined - a power that fuels the mission of the Sundance Preserve as we move forward into the 21st Century,” James Redford, Chairman, Sundance Preserve. The Sundance Preserve is moving towards the future in this partnership that returns the Sundance Summer Theatre to the Sundance Resort.
According to Kathie Debenham, UVSC’s Interim Dean of the School of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, the department carries a mission that resonates with that of the Sundance Preserve.
“This opportunity to partner with Sundance Resort in bringing theatre back to their inspiring mountain setting represents a wonderful way for us to move our institutional mission into action,” said Debenham.
“We are thrilled to connect with the community through the arts and look forward to a long and productive association that will enrich our community and provide engaged learning opportunities for our students.”
	In addition to UVSC, Sundance Resort will also partner with Cornerstone Technologies. This Orem company has a long tradition of supporting the local community in a number of charitable endeavors while providing world class technical support to many members of the local corporate market. Cornerstone is committed to providing support for the performance as well as allowing for educational opportunities for the Utah Valley State College students who are participating in the program.
	The play will begin at 7:30 PM with the doors opening at 6:30 PM. Individual tickets go on sale on June 2nd and are $15 per person. Group pricing is $13 per person for groups of 20 people ore more. All tickets are general admission.
Group tickets go on sale May 5th and may be purchased by telephone only. Please call toll free 866-571-3379 between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM Monday through Friday. Individual ticket sales begin on June 2nd when the Sundance Ticket Office opens for the summer season. The Ticket Office hours are 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM Monday through Saturday. Tickets will also be available by calling toll free 866-571-3379.

SNOWBIRD EXTENDS SEASON, OPENS LITTLE CLOUD LIFT

SNOWBIRD, UTAH – With more than 11 feet of snow on the ground at mid-mountain, Snowbird announced today it will extend its season into June and possibly beyond.

Snowbird President Bob Bonar said today he feels confident the resort will be able to offer skiing and riding daily through Sunday, May 11, and then Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through June 1 (including Monday, May 26, Memorial Day).

“With last week’s storm and additional precipitation this week it looks like we’ll have plenty of snow for great skiing through the last weekend of May, beginning of June,” said Bonar. “We will continue to offer skiing and riding as long as the conditions are safe, enjoyable and there’s interest.”

Snowbird lifts have run as late as July 4 in two previous seasons. Bonar said this week it is too early to know if that’s a possibility this year.

Previously not scheduled to operate for the remainder of the spring schedule, the Little Cloud chairlift began operating today and will continue to do so for the remainder of the spring schedule along with Peruvian Express, Mineral Basin Express and Peruvian Tunnel. The resort is open for skiing and riding 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Sunday, May 11. Beginning May 16, the hours of operation will be 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lift tickets are $59.

The Aerie and Atrium restaurants, both located in the Cliff Lodge, celebrate Mother’s Day with brunches beginning at 9 a.m. in the Aerie and 10:30 a.m. in the Atrium. For reservations call (801) 933-2181.

			<title>What&amp;amp;#039;s better than &amp;quot;The Greatest Snow on Earth?&amp;quot; - 58 FEET of The Greatest Snow on Earth!!!</title>

What's better than &amp;quot;The Greatest Snow on Earth?&amp;quot; - 58 FEET of The Greatest Snow on Earth!!!

SALT LAKE CITY, UT- On May 1, Alta Ski Area announced a season total snowfall of 702 inches making 2007-08 the third snowiest winter at Alta in the last 28 years. 702 inches equals 58.5 feet or 6 stories. While many resorts are busy preparing for summer activities, the state's plethora of snow is still creating amazing ski conditions at Snowbird Ski &amp;amp; Summer Resort which plans to remain open through the month of May. &amp;quot;We've seen over 20 inches of new snow in the first two days of May,&amp;quot; said Snowbird Marketing Director Dave Fields. &amp;quot;These weekly storm cycles that started in December continue to deliver phenomenal skiing and riding.&amp;quot;

Snowbird, which currently has a 143-inch base, will remain open for snowriding until May 11, after which they will be open Friday-Sunday through Memorial Day and possibly beyond.

For the latest information on Snowbird’s conditions and vacation packages, go to www.snowbird.com.

&amp;quot;This has been a truly amazing winter,&amp;quot; Ski Utah President Nathan Rafferty, &amp;quot;The incredible amount of snow we have received has created an unprecedented buzz amongst snowriders everywhere that Utah is the place to be for the best snow conditions on the planet.&amp;quot;

Despite a slow start to the season, as the snow continued to pile up, so did skier visits. With at least a month remaining in the season, the total number of skier visits for the 2007-08 season is still unknown. But with a little luck and continued help from Mother Nature, a fifth record year for skier visits is not out of reach.

			<title>Alta Ski Area Tops the 700&amp;amp;#147; Snowfall Total</title>

Alta Ski Area Tops the 700“ Snowfall Total
For the 2007-2008 Season

May 1, 2008 (ALTA, UT) It happened at the very end of Alta’s snowfall measuring for this ski season. Alta measures seasonal snowfall from October storms, when the accumulated snow does not melt, resulting in it being part of the measurable base depth for early season, through 4 am on May 1, giving Alta a sound statistical base to track season to season.

On the afternoon of April 30, Alta’s seasonal snowfall total measured 688 inches, according to Titus Case, snow safety director. “We were on track to go down with the 2007-2008 ski season being the 4th snowiest in 28 years,” reported Titus. “With this evening’s storm, it may be possible to reach the 700” mark.”

As of 4 am on Thursday, May 1, Alta Ski Area reported snow accumulations of 14 inches, bringing the 2007- 2008 seasonal snowfall total to 702”. This makes the current ski season the 3rd snowiest in Alta’s 28- year measuring cycle and the season snowfall average now stands at 547 inches.

			<title>Park City Mountain Resort Announces $10.5 Million in Improvements for 2008-09</title>
			<link>http://www.skiutah.com/media/press_room/release/1133</link>
			<description>
			Author: Paula Fabel

Park City, Utah – Park City Mountain Resort today announced $10.5 million in improvements for the 2008-09 winter season including a new high-speed chair lift, terrain enhancements and renovation of the Mid-Mountain Lodge.

“Our goal is to have more of our guests explore the diverse terrain that our mountain has to offer,” said Peter Curtis, president and general manager of Park City Mountain Resort. “We’ve accomplished this with our groomed Signature Runs, Mountainzone trail maps, personal mountain planner and terrain enhancements, which began with Motherlode Meadows. The $10.5 million in improvements takes us one step further to providing the best downhill experience for our guests.”

Park City Mountain Resort’s new high-speed quad chair lift, Crescent lift, replacing and realigning the existing Ski Team lift, will begin near the base of the Resort and extend to Crescent Ridge (also known as Ski Team Ridge). The new chair lift will significantly increase accessibility out of the base area as well as to the front-side runs, which are some of the Resort’s best advanced terrain. The new lift takes guests almost twice as far as the Ski Team lift and in less time. In addition, the new lift will provide access to a majority of the Resort and direct access to lifts including Silverlode, Bonanza, King Con, PayDay, Town, Pioneer and McConkey’s.

To complement the new lift, the Resort is making terrain enhancements to improve the skiing/riding experience on the mountain including a new run and expanded snowmaking. In addition, Park City Mountain Resort will assume operations for Mid-Mountain Lodge in the 2008-09 season. The Resort will renovate the Mid-Mountain Lodge to further develop on-mountain dining.

Finally, as part of its environmental commitment, Park City Mountain Resort is offsetting 100 percent of its power consumption from renewable energy sources beginning in June 2008. This purchase of 13.9 million kWh of renewable energy credits (RECs) will avoid nearly 19 million pounds of CO2 emissions annually, which is equal to removing 1,853 passenger vehicles from the road or powering 1,100 average American homes for a year. For more information, visit www.saveoursnow.net.

WOLF CREEK UTAH GOES PRIVATE AND ANNOUNCES OFFICIAL NAME CHANGE

Wolf Creek Utah is now a private golf, recreational and resort community

EDEN, UT— Wolf Creek Utah, a 3,000-acre master-planned residential and resort community located in beautiful Ogden Valley, announced today that it has transitioned into a private club and resort community, and will soon unveil new membership opportunities available for Wolf Creek Utah owners and residents, current members and individuals living outside of Wolf Creek Utah in select nearby communities.

“Wolf Creek Utah is proud of our new position as the leading, private family-friendly, resort and club community in northern Utah. The privatization of our golf course and community allows Wolf Creek Utah to deliver high quality services and amenities to our members,” said Bill Cox, general manager of Wolf Creek Utah. “Later this year, we plan to begin construction on the renovation of our member’s clubhouse, the family pool and the interim member fitness center, and we look forward to the completion of the Wolf Creek Utah Family Adventure Village as well.”

Effective April 10, 2008, the club will begin using the name Wolf Creek Utah to identify the club’s private amenities and remaining properties. The change reflects Wolf Creek Utah’s focus on differentiating the resort and club from other resorts in the mountain west.

“We feel our programs set the standard for excellence in family fun experiences,” said Cox. “Even though our golf course and dining rooms are now private, we will continue to support our community and region with outstanding recreational opportunities and special events, such as the Balloon Festival and Music in the Mountains.”

Wolf Mountain, Wolf Creek Utah Adventures, The Orvis Store, The Gift Shop (formerly Connie’s Corner) and the Wolf Creek Liquor Cellar will remain open to the public. Wolf Creek Utah Adventures, The Orvis Store, The Gift Shop and the Wolf Creek Liquor Cellar have relocated just down the road from the clubhouse at 3718 North Wolf Creek Drive.

Beginning Sunday, April 13, restaurants at Wolf Creek Utah, including The Grille and The Rusty Cactus, will be closed for renovations, and will reopen in May only to those holding club memberships and to Wolf Creek Utah Lodging guests. Wolf Creek Grill, formerly known as Tracks, will be offering a limited menu for golfers in the beginning of May and then will expand its menu as the golf season continues. Guests who book their stay through Wolf Creek Utah Lodging will continue to have access to the amenities that the community offers, including the golf course, on a limited, fee-basis.

Chad Stoddard, Wolf Creek Utah Golf Professional, will lead the membership program and will be responsible for transitioning Wolf Creek Utah into a private, resort community.

The new club membership packages will offer a full, lifetime and multi-generational opportunity with unlimited access, as well as a more recreation-specific membership program that will include limited access to its championship 18-hole course golf club, restaurants and the current and future amenity base.

Sundance, UT - The editors of National Geographic Traveler Magazine have selected the Sundance Resort to be included in the first annual Stay List. The Stay List includes the top 150 properties in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean that exemplify authenticity and a sense of place.

The award takes note of hotels with “location-inspired architecture, ambience and amenities, eco-stewardship, and an ethic of giving back to community,” according to National Geographic Traveler. 10 San Diego Locals to Ski 7 Utah Ski Resorts in Less Than 24 Hours

SALT LAKE CITY, UT- On Tuesday, April 8, 2008 ten San Diego locals will board the 6:15 a.m. Delta flight to Salt Lake City for the ultimate one day ski vacation. Five lucky winners of the Ski Utah ‘Ski In- Fly Out’ promotion and a guest of their choice will be flown to Salt Lake City International Airport and driven to one of five different Utah ski resorts. The pairs of skiers will enjoy Alta/Snowbird, Brighton/Solitude, The Canyons, Deer Valley or Snowbasin. They will be provided with the complete ski package including rental equipment, a day of skiing, lunch and dinner. This crazy mad dash is the end result of the ‘Fly in – Ski Out’ campaign designed by Ski Utah and the Utah Office of Tourism. The campaign promotes Utah’s great spring skiing conditions and incredible accessibility, perfect for last minute ski visits.

With Easter falling at the earliest time possible many skiers might have switched their recreational focus from skiing towards other summer activities. “Utah has seen some very impressive snowfall this winter season,” said Ski Utah President Nathan Rafferty, “We need to share with our local and neighboring areas that now may be the best time of the year to enjoy our world class skiing and amazing conditions.” Highlights of spring skiing include sunny skies, warm temperatures, uncrowded slopes and a variety of concerts and activities at many resorts.

The skiers’ day will end with a group dinner and reception at Squatter’s Pub in Salt Lake City where the nine-foot tall Ski Utah Yeti will greet the guests. Media are invited to attend the reception upon request. For more information on the ‘Fly in – Ski Out’ campaign contact Jessica Kunzer, Ski Utah communications director at 801.647.2510 or by email at jessica@skiutah.com.
