If you're a shutterbug, grab your camera and get to Utah this winter. You may be one of next year's lucky winners. Winners will be showered with fabulous prizes from Ski Utah, Pictureline, Canon, Rossignol, Burton, and Smith and their images will grace the pages of next year's Winter Vacation Planner.  Check out some of this years entries below:

How to Enter

Want to Enter your photo for this season? To enter please email your photos to skiutahphotocontest2010@gmail.com.  We'll be posting the entries on the Ski Utah Yeti's facebook account and in our Flickr Account. Please get your best images ready.  Limit 2 entries per photographer. See below for submission guidelines.

While in Utah, be sure and stop by Pictureline and see the latest and greatest in your photo gear. Want to improve your skills? Sign up for a free class; subscribe to Pictureline's newsletter; and be sure to join their community where you can view other photographer's images and post your own portfolio for free. First Place - Amateur

  • Rossignol Ski Setup or Burton Snowboard setup.
  • $500 gift certificate towards the purchase of a Canon digital SLR camera redeemable at Pictureline or pictureline.com

Second Place - Amateur

  • Smith Goggles
  • $100 gift certificate towards the purchase of any Canon product through Pictureline or pictureline.com

Honorable Mentions (4) - Amateur
$50 Pictureline gift certificate.

Submission Guidelines and Rules

To enter please email your photos to skiutahphotocontest2010@gmail.com. Be sure to give us your contact information including: full name, email address, physical address, day and evening phone number and location of the images.  You many only enter one category. Please submit only your best work. Limit 2 photos per photographer. If you have questions about the submittal process, email tim@skiutah.com.

Submission Deadline: April 30, 2010

Photos must have been taken in Utah during the 2009-10 season.

Images will not be returned. In consideration for participating in the contest, participants agree that Ski Utah, or its designate, may publish images without renumeration to the participant in Ski Utah's Winter Vacation Planner Photo Contest section and on Ski Utah's Web sites, SkiUtah.com, RideUtah.com and KeepUtahCool.com. For other usages, Ski Utah will contact photographer to secure an agreed upon usage fee.

Employees of Ski Utah or the Utah Ski & Snowboard Association, its member resorts or of Pictureline are not eligible to enter. Images will be judged by a panel of Ski Utah and Pictureline employees. Judges' decisions are final.
