Today with sadness I report the passing away of a 27-year old skier named Heather Gross. She was caught up in an in-bounds avalanche at Snowbird Resort today.
This is a reminder to all that skiing inbound or out-of-bounds- the danger is always present. Please take the time to brush up on your avalanche knowledge. The UAC is an excellent resource.
