Brighton Ski Resort with 16" of new, fluffy powder! from Ride Utah on Vimeo.

The precipitation came light in the valley and considerable in the Wasatch Front. Each resort up the Cottonwoods received 16”+ with snow continuing to fall today and more this evening. Brighton Ski Resort was knee to waist deep with cornices and wind build-ups over the mountain.  Todays avalanche report finished up with the optimistic, “Snow should start up again during the day and intensify this afternoon and this evening before tapering off Tuesday morning. Winds shift to the northwest this evening and will be in the moderate category and temperatures dip into the teens. We may see up to another foot in many areas with more possible in the most favored locations.”
