It is going off in Park City. You need to be here!

Now is the time to get up to Park City.  With the 2011 FIS Skiing World Championships going on, Park City Utah couldn't get more exciting if it tried.  In my opinion this week blows away the Sundance Film Festival because now the locals can really get out enjoy all the exciting events that are taking place.
Last night those who bundled up properly were treated to the awesome jams of Julian Marley on Main Street. The concert was followed up by a great fireworks display shot over Deer Valley Resort. 
This morning I made it out for the first ever Slope Style competition at Park City Mountain Resort.  Once again local skier Alex Schlopy took home the gold!  That's two gold medals in less then a week, first at the Xgames and now here at the World Championship.  Way to go Alex!
Be sure to come up and check out dual moguls, freestyle aerials and the SuperPipe this weekend! They are unbelievable events to watch.
You know what else is going to happen this weekend?  It's going to snow, the forecast is calling for snow all weekend so it may be time to break out the fat boys again.  Pray for snow!
