When you hear the weather man or Wasatch Snow Forecast talk about Southwest Flow, the first thing that should come to mind is Sundance Resort. Different wind patterns favor different resorts here in Utah and a strong Southwest flow almost always clobbers Sundance.  Last weekend the Powder Posse was fortunate enough to experience one of those days.  We watched the weather and we were confident  that snow would hit Sundance harder than it would it other resorts.

With this weeks impending snow storm on the horizon, now is the time to start following the forecast. This way you too can find the deepest powder in the State.  I know it’s only Sunday but my early guess for next Thursday would be Sundance, Eagle Point and Brianhead Resorts. This storm is looking very similar to the one we saw last weekend and those were the resorts that saw the most snow.

Check out how Sundance skied after 10” of Utah’s finest powder was left for the taking.
