“Powder Mountain is flat... Powder Mountain isn’t steep... blah blah blah.” I’m so sick of hearing skiers say this here in Utah. You know what, keep on telling yourself that, I’m sure the locals at Pow Mow would love to continue having that entire mountain to themselves.
Clearly if you’re making those comments, you’re not skiing this mountain correctly. Maybe you should get a guide for the day. They do offer this service. There’s no way you can watch this video, or look at these pictures and still tell me it’s flat.
Of course, for the new or aspiring powder skier, there is a ton of beginner and intermediate terrain at Pow Mow, but if you really look around this mountain, you’ll find some serious terrain. Go ahead, ski anything in between Waterfall to Hook Left Chute then tell me the terrain is mellow.
So if you haven’t been to Powder Mountain in a while, this is me throwing down a challenge. Get up there... and give this terrain a shot. You won’t be disappointed.
When the Powder Posse made it up there on Monday morning we were treated to an empty resort and 10 inches of new snow. Here are three different takes on the day. . . as the week of Monster Dumps looks to continue with a favorable and snowy forecast across Utah for the remainder of this week.

OK, Matt, I like you. I like your posts, I like your videos, etc. But seriously - SHUT UP about Powder Mountain. It's a terrible mountain and only for beginners. People should definitely not go there. ;)
