Today was the greatest ski day of my entire life! That's saying a lot, considering I live in Utah and ski over a 120 days a year. I'll let the video we shot Tuesday at Snowbasin do the taking.
Did I mention there is more snow on the way! Check out this forecast. Remember, that's in addtion to the 30'' that we've received in the last 3 days!
Tonight: Windy. Numerous snow showers in the evening...then snow likely after midnight. Accumulation 2 to 4 inches. Lows near 10. Northwest winds 25 to 35 mph early in the evening. Chance of snow 70 percent.
Wednesday: Snow. Accumulation 5 to 10 inches. Highs near 20. Chance of snow 90 percent.
Wednesday Night: Snow in the evening...then snow likely after midnight. Accumulation 2 to 4 inches. Lows 15 to 20. Chance of snow 90 percent.

It might well have been us 4 gondolas behind you. I did only lose one. The liftie had even loaded them, so I consider myself blameless. He loaded them base to top though...I think base to base is more secure.
Awesome! Bet that's a trip you'll never forget!
I was there last Tuesday also. Wow, calling in at work was a great decision. What an epic ski day. And a bit crazy...delayed opening, power outage all day, then on my second gondola ride, one of my skis blew off! A companion found the ski, but it was 11:30 and had only 1 run under my belt. Made up for it in the afternoon, getting face shots until the end.
I think we were 4 gondolas in front of you. I remember hearing someone say where is my ski? You only lost one right?
We were there also.. incredible. thought I would share some of our day!
dude go to powder mnt. greatest unknown place in skiing. on crowded weekend; ski backside. someone will always give you a rice back to main resort. be there in 2 weeks
Dude, Me and My Family went that day. I'll admit im not the best skier but this was absolutely INCREDIBLE!! the powder was amazing!!
It was unreal. I'm still on cloud 9, even days after...
My family and I skied Snowbasin also on Jan 29th. Your video made us grin from ear to ear. That day was the most epic ski day of my life. I've experienced a few things - Hawaiian beaches, Niagra Falls, Venice, Paris, Tokyo, Old Faithful - but skiing this week in over 3 feet of the fluffiest powder may just top all of them. :)
Dave, while I haven't been to as many cool places as you. I'd have to say those 6 hours spent on the slopes at Snowbasin Tuesday were far and away the most enjoyable 6 hours of my life.

One of my boys was there and says da powda is off da hizook. the G5 is fueled up and I'll be carving up the mountain with my Rozzies in no time. Anyone know a good place to find a hot rum toddy near the slopes.
Dude - that looks like some sick powda. I'm taking the PJ out there tonight for 3 solid days...can't wait to wax up the Rossie's and start shredding the mountain.
Sounds like Mark and Megan are poking a little fun... Hahah
OMG! I have 38 people headed your way on Sat 2/2. Save some powda for me!
Looks like an awesome day!! Defintiely snorkel skiing! Wish I were there.
Hey, didn't they tell you that run was CLOSED?!?!?!? ":>))
I cannot believe I missed this EPIC day! Have fun all! we'll be out there soon!
I've never skied, but this does look fluffy. :)
You should try it, go to Brighton if you have never skied, but if you want go to Snowbird if you are a good all around skier.
