FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE Rail Jam Series continues
Posted by Tim on February 17, 2011The FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE Rail Jam Series continues weekend! Night 2 of the three-part am series is this Friday, February 18. Money is cooler than product and that's why we're handing out buckets of it for each division. That's right, men, women, ski, snowboard, groms and grandmas alike all get a money prize. The course will be setup under the bright lights of Three Kings Terrain Park near the base of Eagle Superpipe. We plan to have a creative setup with cinco jib features. The event is a jam format and 5:15 is go time!
Brian Head Resort Opens Two Revamped Terrain Parks
Posted by Tim on February 17, 2011Just in time for an epic President’s Weekend, and perfectly coinciding with the arrival of about a foot of the Greatest Snow on Earth, Brian Head Resort in Southern Utah this week opened two revamped terrain parks, Junkyard and Progressive. Between the two parks, there are many new beginner, intermediate and advanced features. There is likely something for every rider & freeskier in any family.
USSA Snowboard Cross Grand Prix at Canyons Resort, Feb 12 2011
Posted by Tim on February 15, 2011The Canyons hosted the USSA National Championship Snowboard Cross Grand Prix this year. The course was built on Doc's run, which made for a perfect venue. Athletes were challenged by the aggresive berms and obstacles on course, while spectators gathered below on Ski Beach to watch the race. Here are some highlights from the event.

With getting boots, helmets, goggles, mittens, dragging them up the slope, trying to tell them how to ride, it's easy to forget that this is supposed to be fun! Burton was in town last week with 2002 Winter Olympic Gold Medalist Ross Powers to introduce some of the new innovations they've come up with to help get younger kids shredding and to make life a little easier on parents as well. Check it out.

This is a four-stop mobile product demo and mini snowboard park designed to introduce kids as young as three to snowboarding.
