Powder Mountain Reopens this Friday

Powder Mountain is more than just a place to ski and snowboard. It's truly a community and if you ride there you are part of the community family. In true community fashion, Powder Mountain is hosting the Brett Earl Family Ski Benefit on Friday, April 24 from noon - 8pm at the Sundown Lift & Lodge.

Earl, a resident of Eden, died unexpectedly of a heart attack on April 11 at the age of 39. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Earl family - Darnelle, Riley, Raj, Taj and India.

The fun of skiing and snowboarding in springtime conditions will be enhanced by live music, a silent auction, and a barbeque. Non-skiers can join in the fun with a scenic snowcat ride of Lightning Ridge.

A minimum donation of $15 per person will provide participants with either a Sundown Lift Pass or a scenic snowcat ride on Lightning Ridge. Passes can be purchased online at www.powdermountain.com, at Valley Market or at Sundown Lodge on the day of the event.

Can't attend? The Powder Mountain website is also set up to accept donations for anyone unable to attend the event.
