Canyon Sports Hosting Avalanche Awareness Class

canyonsportslogo (canyonsportslogo)A critical need exists for basic avalanche education for all ski and snowboard enthusiasts in Utah. Since 1980 the Utah Avalanche Centers’ goal has been to keep people on top of the Greatest Snow on Earth instead of being buried beneath it. They provide critical avalanche and mountain weather information to help skiers make life and death decisions in the backcountry and on the slopes. Through their avalanche awareness courses they provide special avalanche advisories when conditions are especially hazardous or unusual.

“KNOW BEFORE YOU GO” is a Free 50-minute presentation from the Utah Avalanche Center. Space is limited, arrive early or RSVP (801) 359-0814

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 3 – 7:00 pm
Canyon Sports “Bicycle Transit Center”
250 South 600 West (north end of the Greyhound station)

There is plenty of parking on the east side of 600 West, then go to the corner of 200 or 300 South to cross the street.
