First Day at Brighton- Baby Milly Skis the Mountain She was Named For

related_thumbnail

There is something so exciting about the first day of the season. After months of hunger, riders finally get their fill of their ultimate craving... SNOW! That is why it came as no surprise that skiers and riders arrived at Brighton Resort hours before the lifts opened to catch the first chair and turns of the season. The sparkle of light flurries made the morning even more magical as hundreds of eager snow enthusiasts celebrated one of the greatest days of the year... the first day of the season.

This special day always brings a little tear to my eye. Afterall, even us furry beasts have a soft spot for snow. I was especially touched however, by the story of Baby Milly who joined her parents to ski the mountain she was named for:

Don't forget that Solitude opens tomorrow and Snowbird on Saturday. See you there!
