A famous fixture in the Utah ski industry opened for business today. Park City Mountain Resort’s 22-foot Eagle Superpipe entertains shredders on one of the earliest days in the resort’s history. This super early opening is due in part to a unique approach the resort took this summer. That approach involved moving dirt around to “jumpstart” the building of the park and pipe as described by Jeremy Cooper, terrain park manager at Park City Mountain Resort. This early opening gives riders an extra opportunity to catch a glimpse of some of the biggest names in action sports who train at the Eagle Superpipe, including Park City All Stars Kazu Kokubo, Torah Bright, Joss Christensen and Tanner Hall.
