"Taking the Challenge" simply means that you invited and helped enroll at least one newcomer to a beginner lesson or lesson package provided by a professional instructor. You can win prizes from Challenge sponsors for helping to enroll newcomers even if you are one yourself. You can enter more than once by introducing several different newcomers. The Learn to Ski Package is a great way for children and adults who are first time skiers to get started in the sport of skiing. Choose any four days of the season you want to ski (excluding holiday periods). Enrollment is limited and reservations are required. Call now to reserve your space. Offered to Utah residents only. Expect your first day on skis to be physically challenging. The fun, grace and freedom of skiing will dramatically develop and your physical effort will decrease as you gain finesse, balance and confidence during your first few days skiing. Most students will comfortably ski "green" easier slopes after four 2-hour lessons spread over several days of skiing. Stick with skiing for at least four days, and the thrilling sensations, camaraderie and beautiful mountain environment associated with skiing are yours to experience for a lifetime.
Park City Mountain Resort
StartNOW – A program for never ever skiers and snowboarders. For a total of $200, the five day StartNOW program includes the following each day of the program:
- Lift tickets
- Beginner ski or snowboard lesson
- Ski or snowboard equipment rental

Lucky 13 offer
Snowbasin is proud to introduce the Lucky 13 Program! For $39 an individual will receive a Little Cat Lift ticket, 2 Hour Group Lesson and Basic Rental. Lessons are available daily at 10 am and 1 pm. Lucky 13 is designed for first time and beginner skiers & snowboarders "Only".
*Lucky 13 is available from January 1st through the 13th.

First Timers Learn to Ski or Snowboard and Earn a Season Pass!
Children and Adults ages 7+ give it a go and earn a season pass! Only valid for first time skiers or riders. Plan to arrive at least 90 minutes prior to your lesson time. You need enough time to rent your equipment and check in.
Learn Your Way to a Season Pass with 5 Lessons
New this year, Snowbasin has redesigned and streamlined its Learn and Earn Program to make it easier to ski or snowboard on the mountain and earn a season pass while learning! Just sign up for the program, complete the 5 beginner lessons and earn a Free Season Pass* for the remainder of the 2012-13 ski season. **
- First 3 lessons - include a two hour lesson (am or pm), Littlecat and Becker lift ticket, and basic rentals.
- Final 2 lessons - include a two hour lesson (am or pm), All Area lift ticket, and basic rentals.
RECEIVE FREE A SEASON PASS!
Participants who complete their 5 lessons will have received 10 hours of instruction, 5 days of rentals, and 5 ski passes for $295. Upon completion, participants will receive a SEASON PASS to practice their new skills for the rest of the season! **
