A Skier’s Mountain-Alta and pure, unspoiled skiing are truly synonymous. Respected for its classic powder skiing, challenging terrain and spectacular views, don’t forget that Alta also offers great beginner and intermediate skiing.
Alta Ski Area nordic
Come up and enjoy classic or skate skiing on our 5km groomed track. Later on in the season, when weather and snow conditions permit, we groom a track at mid-mountain which is accessible via Sunnyside Lift with your Nordic Pass.
Alta Ski Area Cat Skiing
Alta offers a unique skiing adventure of guided off-trail skiing in the Grizzly Gulch Bowl, located in Little Cottonwood Canyon above Alta.
