More Information

Rustic Elegance

The Snowpine Lodge built in 1938 may be Alta's oldest building, but it has been recently transformed into a comfortably luxurious lodge with modern amenities. Let our staff take care of the details while you enjoy the convenience of ski in ski out access to some of the world's best skiing.

Your stay includes a full, hot breakfast and four course gourmet dinner. Enjoy your meals in our beautiful dining room with panoramic views of North Rustler and Eagle's Nest. Ski all day and return to the lodge to enjoy a massage in our new spa treatment room or soak in our outdoor jacuzzi. Get your work done in our business center or just enjoy some peaceful time and the gorgeous view from our fire pit.

Our accommodations range from private rooms with private baths and flat screen TV's, to smaller rooms and dorms that share several baths. The Snowpine is a "powder hound's" delight. Let us arrange shuttle service from Salt Lake City's International Airport, just 35 miles from Alta. You won't need a car here because everything you need is within walking or skiing distance.

Snowpine has a simple western flavor that has earned favorable mention in leading ski magazines. Reade Bailey, of SKI magazine described the lodge as, "...the oldest lodge in Little Cottonwood Canyon - and arguably its most charming."
