Sliding Academy…Brighton is “The place where Utah learns to ski and snowboard.” Passionate about sharing the sport they love; our instructors are skilled at creating a positive learning environment for you and your family. Brighton offers daily and multi-week lessons for children ages 4 and up and adults of all ages and abilities.

Location…Just 35 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City, Brighton is located at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon. Just take exit #6 on I-215 and follow the signs to Brighton. If you don’t have a car, be sure to check out the local Bus and Light Rail schedules at www.uta.com

Restaurants…With three mountain restaurants, Brighton has something to please every taste, from The Alpine Rose and Millicent Chalet cafeterias to a full service restaurant at Molly Green’s Pub.
