More Information

Mother nature sure knows how to put on a show here in southern Utah. Famous champagne powder coupled with incredible mountain terrain and red rock scenery. No where else can boast such a unique winter experience like Cedar City & Brian Head. Here it’s more than just mountains- its deep powder, a noticeable lack of crowds, genuine western hospitality and down to earth personality. Here you connect with nature while reconnecting with family and friends. And the best part, we’re a winter destination that doesn’t break the bank, so your wallet will also sing our praises too.

There’s so much to do in southern Utah, who has time for sleeping? Well, when it is time to rest your weary head (and body); there are plenty of places to relax before you set out for another exciting day.  By staying is either Cedar City, Parowan or Brian Head you will be centrally located to all of the fantastic activities of southern Utah. Plus you have a pick of a wide variety of lodging options from luxurious cabins to homey B & B’s, there’s even a camping spot or two.  There’s something for every taste and budget.

Cedar City is the second largest city in southern Utah, with over 1,200 rooms available for rent. Cedar City features several newly constructed chain hotels, plus some great independently owned hotels and inns.     Cedar City’s distinctive bed & breakfast inns feature the traditional warmth of yesteryear but the modern comforts of today.  Most of the major hotels and B & B’s in Cedar City offer ski and Shakespearean Festival packages.

Parowan is a traditional hometown that has one chain motel and several bed & breakfast establishments that focus on old fashioned hospitality and charm.

Brian Head is a quant ski resort village that veers away from “homogenized”- so you won’t find any franchises there.  Instead you find a great mix of privately owned condo rentals, timeshares, luxury cabins, vacation homes and a well appointed full service hotel with a day spa.   Many of the Brian Head accommodations are “ski in and out” and for those that are not, there’s a town shuttle to pick you up during the ski season.
