Four years ago Powder Mountain earned top ratings for Value and for Snow in the SKI magazine survey. Ever since then, the resort has remained among the top vote getters for in both categories. Prior to this, Powder Mountain was strictly a local's secret.

With 7,000 acres of skiable terrain, Powder Mountain is one of North America’s largest ski areas. This is the place if you want knee deep fluff or untouched corduroy. Even on the busiest day, you may only find one skier per two acres of terrain.
Almost 3,000 acres is a traditional lift served resort with an abundance of groomed cruisers and powder runs. The remainder is nirvana for powder hounds. Take your pick of the 1,200 acres served by Powder Country shuttle, 800 acres accessed by a short ride on Lightning Ridge snowcat or the 2,000 acres reserved for the Snowcat Powder Safari.
Adrenalin junkies can even try helicopter skiing or snowkiting.
The staff at Powder Mountain is passionate about the mountain and gladly shares their enthusiasm. Their goal is for you to leave at the end of your trip feeling like you have become a member of the Powder Mountain Family.
