Snowbasin machine grooms and maintains 26km of Nordic trails for your enjoyment. Suitable for both skating and classic style Nordic skiing, wind through beautiful glades and meadows under towering mountain peaks. The trails start near Parking Lot #2 near the tubing hill. Shuttle service runs continually to Earl's Lodge.

There is no charge for Snowbasin's Nordic trails. Trails are great for outdoor enthusiasts of all abilities looking for an alternative way to experience our mountain. For starter trails, choose between the Stadium, the Meadows Loop or Maples Loop. For longer and more aggressive tours, head towards the Old Road to the Basin or Outback trails. Several additional kilometers of more difficult trails are maintained by the U.S. Forest Service which branch off of the Old Road to the Basin trail.

The Grizzly Center, located in the Main Plaza, offers full rental packages, including traditional/diagonal and skating skis. Snowshoe rentals are also available. You can view the Nordic and Snowshoe packages available at the Rental Shop page.
