Stephanie Nielson, author of Heaven is Here and the popular blog nieniedialogues.com When Stephanie Nielson began writing about her life in 2005, in what soon became a very popular blog (nieniedialogues.com) she was in love with her husband and enjoying raising their four young children. However, everything changed in an instant on a sunny day in August 2008 when Stephanie and her husband were in a horrific plane crash. Stephanie had burned 80% of her body and was on the brink of death. She would remain in a coma for four months. Stephanie shares the full, extraordinary story of her unlikely survival and the love that helped her along the way – from a gripping account of the crash to all that followed in its wake. With her trademark wit and candor, Stephanie recounts her life before the crash, her painful first few days after awakening, her fight to recovery and her journey to return to her family she so dearly loves. She also reflects back on life before the crash and the origins of her strength, faith and family ties, which became the foundation for her survival.
