Brighton is a local favorite with multiple terrain parks, and Solitude is truly a place that lives up to its name. Both resorts are only 14 miles from Salt Lake City’s lights and 45 minutes to the SLC airport.
Big Cottonwood Canyon is home to Brighton and Solitude ski and snowboard resorts. Both resorts have rental shops and gear stores. Other options are also available in the canyon or you can rent in Salt Lake City or South Valley.
