Alta is located a few miles up Little Cottonwood Canyon from Snowbird and the two share an adjoining lift ticket so you can easily ski both resorts in a single day.
Lodging options include classic ski chalets, condos, and hotels, and lodges. Most lodging is ski-in / ski-out so you can be first on the mountain. You’ll find sushi, fine dining, casual dining, spas, pools, hot tubs, child care and après ski activities at both Alta and Snowbird.
