Solitude Mountain Resort
Solitude Mountain Resort is located in Big Cottonwood Canyon, near Salt Lake City, and receives 500+ inches of snow on 3,250 acres that include manicured groomers, bowls and white-knuckle chutes. Solitude is known for its family atmosphere and uncrowded slopes. Its small Bavarian-style walking village includes a hotel and condos, charming restaurants, an ice rink and other family style evening activities. Solitude is located just a few miles down canyon from Brighton Resort. Alta and Snowbird are one canyon over and Park City's resorts are on the otherside of the ridgeline.
