August Festivities:

Cherry Peak Concert Series - Cherry Peak- August 1st - September 1st

Utah Symphony Music Festival - Deer Valley Resort- August 1st - August 11th
Enjoy breathtaking views accompanied by the world-class talent of the Utah Symphony as they perform with renowned guest artists and conductors for the fifteenth annual Deer Valley Music Festival. You can view the full line up here.

Pizza and Pints - Powder Mountain - August 2nd - August 24th
Join Powder Mountain midweek for delicious homemade pizza, salad and more at Bower Lodge. Complimentary craft beer tasting for adults 21 and over.

Deer Valley Concert Series -  Deer Valley Resort - August 2nd - September 3rd Join Deer Valley this summer for the inaugural Deer Valley Concert Series, presented by Deer Valley Resort in conjunction with The State Room Presents. This vibrant and energizing 5 show series will welcome new artists to the stage of the Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater, bringing the mountains to life. TrouBeliever Fest - Snowbasin Resort - August 3rd - 4th
TrouBeliever Fest is the premiere song based music festival in the country, held at Snowbasin Resort, that specifically celebrates the power of songs. 

Pigs N' Pinot - Solitude Mountain Resort- August 4th
Solitude's local food is exquisitely prepared and served al fresco under the majestic Wasatch Mountains. Join them for an appetizer reception, followed by a 5-course dinner at our communal "Mountain Tables" alongside Big Cottonwood Creek. 



Cool Air Concert Series - Snowbird - August 4th - August 11th
Jam out on the Plaza Deck to top local and national bands. The Birdfeeder will be open and serving food. Lawn chairs and coolers welcome. Weekly concerts take place every Saturday.

Taste of the Wasatch - Solitude Mountain Resort - August 5th Utah's premier culinary event, Taste of the Wasatch, features food tastings presented by chefs from more than 50 top Utah restaurants and resorts, pourings by craft breweries and boutique wineries, live music and a silent auction. Taste of the Wasatch is committed to raising funds to help support efforts to fight hunger in Utah.

Blues, Brews, & BBQ - Snowbasin Resort - August 5th Bring the family to Snowbasin Resort for award-winning BBQ, local brews on tap, family-friendly activities, and free live music for all ages! Every Sunday in the summer 12:00pm - 5:30pm.

Movies on the Mountain - Snowbasin Resort - August 6th Join Snowbasin Resort for the second year of free Movie on the Mountain Series. Snowbasin invites families to watch a free feature motion picture under the stars in the cool Wasatch Mountain air on Earl's Lodge Lawn. Bring your blankets and chairs and enjoy 'dinner and a movie' in the great outdoors.

Sounds of Summer Concert Series - Sundance Mountain Resort - August 5th - Septemeber 9th
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets every Sunday and enjoy a free concert on Ray's Lawn! Each week, Sundance invites talented local bands and artists to mingle their music with the mountain air.

Utah Symphony Under the Stars - Snowbasin Resort- August 7th New this season, The Utah Symphony is coming back for a second concert! Enjoy the cool mountain air as the symphony pays tribute to the iconic songs of Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald sang by Capathia Jenkins accompanied by Tony DeSare.

Pow Mow Trial Trials - Powder Mountain - August 9th - August 23rd Trail Trials is a bi-weekly 5K timed fun run series for our growing local running community. The goal is to familiarize our guests with Powder Mountain's summer trail network while enjoying beautiful landscapes, tacos, beers and raffle prizes at the end of each race.

Tour of Utah's Ultimate Challenge Pre-Party - Park City Mountain - August 10th
This unique opportunity allows participants to ride the exact Stage 5 route as the pros, with a 4-hour head start, as well as offering riders a great spot to watch the finishing sprints of Stage 5 at Snowbird Resort. This fully supported ride has become a bucket list event for over 500 riders and is now the final leg in the Tour of Utah's "Summer of Cycling" program.

Flyin' Brian - Brian Head Ski Resort - August 11th
It's Brian Head's annual Flyin' Brian event! Come watch or participate in this awesome downhill race. They'll have live music from Less Than Lucid, Soul What!? and U2 Live.



Festival of Flavors - Brian Head Ski Resort- August 11th Come out and enjoy a plethora of flavors from our participating beer, wine, and spirit vendors! They're also having live music from Less Than Lucid, Soul What!? and U2 Live!

Open Air Dining Series - Powder Mountain - August 26th - Septemeber 16th As the sun dips behind the beautiful Wasatch Mountain range, you'll slowly dine on a locally inspired 5-course meal that matches the season while savoring wines curated for each offering. 

Bluebird Cafe Concert Series - Sundance Mountain Resort - August 17th - 25th The Bluebird Cafe Concert Series features Nashville's renowned singers, songwriters, and musicians. We're pleased to partner with the original Bluebird Cafe to bring these talented artists to Sundance.

Ogden Valley Balloon & Art Festival - Nordic Valley- August 17th - 18th
Join Nordic Valley at the Ogden Valley Balloon and Art Festival! The event features approximately 15 hot air balloons which are the focus for 5 launches and one balloon glow throughout the weekend. After the morning launches, the activities shift to Tethered Balloon Rides, Arts & Crafts Booths, Food Booths, Kids Games & Activities and continuous live entertainment with many performers.

Beaver Mountian Music Festival - Beaver Mountain- August 17th - 18th
Once again Smile Event Productions will take Beaver Mountain Music Festival to another level! We have an amazing line-up of 31 incredible artists, including 13 nationally touring acts, bringing you funky jams, indie grooves, booming bass, and blistering bluegrass.

Oktoberfest - Snowbird - August 18th - October 21st Snowbird's 46th Annual Oktoberfest Celebration voted one of America's 10 Best Oktoberfests by Men's Journal. Snowbird's Annual Oktoberfest attracts over 60,000 visitors and has grown to become one of the largest festivals in Utah. The event will feature over 50 beers and wines from on Saturdays and Sundays starting August 18 through October 21st and the Monday of Labor Day. Take a scenic tram ride, enjoy some beer and German food or just relax on the grass and listen to music. You won't be disappointed.


Full Moon Lift Rides & Ziptour - Sundance Mountain Resort - August 24th - 25th Experience the mountains under a starlit sky on a Full Moon Lift Ride or ZipTour. Perfect for a date night or family activity, each lift ride lasts 45 minutes to an hour and takes place on Ray's Lift. The ZipTour features a flight down Outlaw Span, 3,871 feet of soaring!

Music in the Mountains - Powder Mountain - August 30th - September 2nd Inspired by the beauty and spirit of this region, in 2014, violinist and Artistic Director Michelle Ross partnered with Powder Mountain in order to bring the best young classical musicians to Eden.

Septemeber Festivities:

Country Music Festival - Brian Head Ski Resort- Septemeber 1st - 2nd Brian Head's second annual Country Music Festival is happening Saturday & Sunday, September 1st & 2nd. Bring your dancin' partners and enjoy some country music and cold beer with us at Brian Head Resort!

Rocktoberfest - Brian Head Ski Resort- Septemeber 15th It's our last event of the Summer season, so come up and enjoy the live music, delicious beer and food and beautiful Fall weather before the first snow falls!!

Harvest Market - Sundance Mountain Resort - Septemeber 22nd Join us for a tastefully curated selection of local artists and craftsmen, live music, delicious treats and activities for all ages! Sundance celebrates the beauty of the season and the rich cultural heritage of the region with its annual Harvest Market. The brilliant fall foliage amid the splendor of Mt. Timpanogos provides a beautiful backdrop for this event each year.
